Every third weekend in September, State Street in Historic Downtown Bristol is amped to the beat of Appalachia’s past, present and future. Celebrating Bristol’s history as the Birthplace of Country Music, the award-winning event is hardly, strictly bluegrass. It is, and isn’t your Daddy’s country music. It’s not necessarily a rock show, but it totally does. And if you’ve never been, you’ll never know how much! With more than 20 stages of live music indoors and out, it’s also the most affordable music event of its kind in the country. Check out their website for pricing on Weekend Passes as discounts vary throughout the year.
